Does not include fees charged by Vet (average cost $70 - $100 per AI procedure) - Owner of the Bitch is responsible for ALL Vet fees

Stud Fee for Diesel is $700.00
Guidelines:
Make sure your Bitch is READY to be mated. If in doubt - email us and we will guide you and assist you with the scheduling of mating your bitch.
Some people think that the Bitch is ready to be mated weeks and even months after her heat cycle. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! You breed DURING her heat cycle. Typically, on the average, the bitch is ready to be mated 7 to 10 days AFTER the first sign of blood (during her heat cycle).
Stud owners charge anywhere from $500.00 on up for the use of the male for 2 AI visits (not including fees charged by the Vet). Should you request additional AI's, they charge $200.00 for each AI thereafter within the same season. Each stud's fees are different, depending on their Pedigree. Please ask us for copies of our stud's Pedigrees - we will be more than happy to provide that information to you.
It is up to YOU, the owner of the Bitch to determine when your Bitch is ready to be mated. Again, the BEST way to determine this is with a progesterone test (which costs approximately $70 at the Vets office). The Vet will also suggest what day would be the appropriate day for mating (s). You may opt to breed your bitch via the old fashioned "rhythm method" as we do but this requires KNOWING exactly what day she started to bleed.
You must provide the stud owner with a copy of your Bitches AKC registration papers and a copy of her current vaccination and rabies records. Stud owners will NOT use their stud with any bitch that has not been properly vaccinated.
