If and when we do have a litter available, the price of puppy is determined by the bloodlines of the Dam & Sire, the number of puppies whelped and the cost we expended to produce the litter. Please e-mail us for pricing on the litter you are interested in. Most people are lucky to "break even" when selling bulldog pups as the cost to produce a litter is astronomical with the stud fee, cost of multiple artificial inseminations, cost of daily progesterone tests, Vet costs and the cost of the c-section - then there is the cost to care for the litter once it has arrived. The cost to even attempt to get a bulldog pregnant is thousands of dollars whether she produces a litter of puppies or not.

When you receive a puppy from us, you receive our Puppy Packet which includes: Avid Microchip & ID Tag  (Avid scanner not included – puppy will be scanned prior to purchase for positive identification), Las Vegas English Bulldogs exclusive Puppy Blanket (made especially for our little critters), puppy toys (may vary), English Bulldog Greeting/Note Cards (to announce your new arrival to friends & family), IAMS/Eukanuba Puppy Starter Kit (includes sample of puppy food), AKC Registration Application Papers, Informational Brochure on Pet Health Insurance, Puppy Pet Passport (for photos and shot record keeping), Limited Health Guarantee Certificate, English Bulldog Handbook keepsake. All of the contents of your Puppy Pack are placed into our exclusive "Owner of a Spoiled English Bulldog" Tote Bag. The tote bags are great for keeping all of your bullie paraphernalia in one safe place (like a doggie diaper bag) and is available to you whether you are buying a puppy from a pet store, your neighbor, a breeder, etc. WHY? Because we care about the breed and want to assist everyone we can who has or is thinking about obtaining a bullie to be able to give their pet an excellent head start on life.

Common Questions We Receive:

Q: Why are prices of bulldog puppies so high?

A: The cost to even attempt to get a bulldog pregnant is thousands of dollars, whether she produces a litter of puppies or not. If a breeder has several females in which they attempt to impregnate, at thousands of dollars PER bitch, and only one becomes pregnant, they must recoup the money they spent on all of the females they attempted to impregnate.

Q: What is the difference between a Quality Breeder and a Pet Store?

A: This is a tricky one as most people feel more comfortable buying from a pet store then from a private party - but keep this in mind - "Where does the pet store get their puppies from"?  A BREEDER - (and sometimes from what is referred to as "puppy mills or backyard breeders) and usually not a very reputable one. Most of the time Pet Stores have certain so-called "breeders" they deal with exclusively - this "breeder" does nothing other then to pump out litter after litter after litter. Most of the time the bitch has never been checked by a Vet, has never had any shots, the conditions in which they keep the bitch are absolutely disgusting and heart breaking. Do a little research on the Internet for "backyard breeders" and you'll get a good idea of what I am referring to. The pet store usually has no knowledge as to who the Dam & Sire are other then what is listed on the papers - the puppies are exposed to a tremendous amount of infectious diseases by being placed into a kennel where many other animals reside, hence the term "kennel cough". I have purchased puppies with kennel cough before and it's NO PICNIC and takes months to get rid of, not to mention is very costly in Vet visits and medications. The pet store usually gives the "breeder" a few hundred dollars for a puppy and then turns around and sells it for $3,500 - $5,000. WOW - excellent mark-up for bringing a pup in for a day or two and then selling it to unknown parties. The pet store personnel cannot usually answer questions like ...

1) Do you know of any genetic defects with the parents?

2) Do you know of any illnesses in prior litters with this breeder or with the Dam/Sire of this litter?

3) Have you seen the environment the puppies are kept in, is it clean and sanitized on a regular basis?

4) Did the puppy I want have any problems the first 6 weeks of it's life i.e. troubles eating, breathing, was it exposed to other animals that have not been properly vaccinated?

5) What do you give me with my puppy? Usually, from a Pet Store you get the first Vet check, shots and AKC papers and THAT'S IT!!!

6) Can I have the pedigree? Do you micro-chip? What about toys and the things I will need for the first few weeks until I can get to Pet Smart and shop till I drop?

Now, with a reputable breeder - this is what you get...

We RAISE BULLIES - we can give you every bit of detailed information you want on the Dam & the Sire, on the litter and on previous litters. We welcome you into our home to visit the Dam & Sire and to see the ENTIRE litter, their living conditions and atmosphere. <<< This is invaluable.

You are purchasing your puppy from a breeder who does nothing but breeds this specific breed and knows more about the breed then a pet shop employee does. Breeders of bullies usually have to bottle-feed the entire litter - if a puppy's lungs are under developed, WE are the ones who give it mouth-to-mouth and resuscitate it. The puppies are in a CONTROLLED environment and kept away from other animals. We can provide you with ALL Vet records from the time of birth to the time they are released to go to their new homes. We can tell you what diet the Dam was on while pregnant, we can give you pictures of her ultrasound/x-rays when available, we can tell you if she had any infections while being pregnant. WE PARTICIPATE FROM CONCEPTION TO BIRTH >>> WE are the ones who seek the qualified male/Sire - WE are the ones who perform the artificial inseminations - WE are the ones who wait patiently for 63 days making sure the bitch is given the proper nutrients/vitamins while pregnant - WE are the ones who chase the bitch around the kitchen in order to take her temperature to see if she has gone into labor - WE are the ones who participate in the c-sections, break the sacs and bring a puppy to life and give it their first breath. WE are the ones who set the clock every 2 hours to get up and bottle feed an entire litter, clean their little behinds and make sure they are kept clean and warm. WE are the ones who provide you with pictures from the time they are born until the time you take it home. And.....2 years from now when you think you may want to have a litter yourself, you can call us for advise (bet you can't do that with a pet store as they don't know the first thing about breeding). We can also provide you with copies of the parents pedigrees if requested, and we'll tell you how to contact our Vet so you can ask them questions.

And..... 9 times out of 10 the price you pay through a breeder is much less then if you buy at a pet store - why? We love what we do - we don't have the over-head of a retail store we have to pay for. nor do we have the cost of employees (we do it all our selves) and therefore we don't have a need to mark up the price of a puppy by thousands of dollars.

Limited vs. Full AKC Registration? Which is best for you?!

Limited AKC Registration allows you to register your new pup with AKC, however any offspring of the pup cannot be registered with AKC. All of our pups are sold with limited AKC Registration. The breeder will typically do this to protect the bloodline and to eliminate the number of backyard breeders whenever possible. We offer Limited AKC Registration for a number of reasons;

  • Reduction in price of puppy
  • To keep puppies that are not really suitable for breeding later on down the road from registering their litters. (Pet quality)
  • To stop or at least limit the number of "back-yard" breeders of our pups. People tend to want to purchase English Bulldogs because of the high dollar amount they might be able to receive for a litter of pups. These people are in it "solely for the money" and have no real care or attachment of the animal. While we cannot control what happens with our pups once they leave our premises, we do however interview each new prospective buyer of one of our pups to ensure that puppy is going to the best home possible.

Full AKC Registration allows you to not only register your pup with AKC, but it allows you to register any litters that may come about down the road.  If you are interested in FULL AKC Registration you must let us/the breeder know at the time you place your deposit on the puppy because the fee for FULL AKC Registration is an extra $500.00 per puppy and this must be stipulated in your Puppy Purchase Contract. Some breeders will go ahead and offer Full AKC Papers with their pups and we will make note of this on the Puppies For Sale page with that particular litter. Litters that do not have strong champion bloodlines are typically sold with Full AKC registration while other litters, such as litters sired by Millcoats Roman or whelped by Windy Le have have very strong champion lines and therefore their litters are sold with limited AKC Registration however you can purchase (in most cases) Full AKC Registration for an extra $500.00.

ALL PAPERS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL: We've been hearing from clients lately that the new thing for some pet stores to advertise is that their puppies come with "papers". What they are NOT telling you is that either they do not have nor can they offer AKC Papers and that their pups come with papers from some unknown animal registry (which is WORTHLESS if you ever want to breed/show) OR that they charge a hellacious amount of money to provide you with AKC papers IF they are even available. JUST BE CAREFUL!!!
